About me

I was that kid who hid their favourite reads in their math textbooks and requested an Oxford English Dictionary for their Bar Mitzvah.

A love of words, storytelling and written communication has always been in my blood. My work as an arts and culture journalist allowed me to explore my passions, and my work as a copywriter opened up doorways to exploring the impact that copy can have on a granular level through conversion and performance metrics.

Maple provides telehealth services across Canada leveraging several lines of business, from traditional consumers using their app to skip the doctor's office waiting room to HR professionals seeking to improve their benefits plan offerings, and even government and hospital partnerships.

As a copywriter, I was able to tap into my innate curiosity to conscientiously address mental health concerns, medical issues, and improve the effectiveness of internal sales presentations. 

Apple Music

If you subscribe to Apple Music then there's a chance you've come across one of my playlist descriptions. 

I was part of a team of professional music nerds hired pre-launch to compose engaging and authentic copy for thousands of playlists that would appeal to both fans and newcomers to the genres.


Toronto Star

Curating and patrolling the social media trenches of Canada's largest newspaper is not for the faint of heart, but it was an exceptional opportunity to work on snappy and engaging copy while moderating intense conversations.  180 social posts were written weekly,  reaching up to 1.56 million followers.

Jet-setting crowds in search of tech-stretch lyocell and merino wool-blended cardigans with natural horn buttons visit Holts and Harry Rosen's online when they need to know the finer selling points of their favourite garms. 

Simple copy simply won't do when it comes to Canadian heritage luxury fashion retailers, Holt Renfrew and Harry Rosen.

Mackenzie Investments is one of Canada's leading mutual fund investment firms with over $140B in assets and major sponsorship of Alpine Canada and the PGA.

My work as Social Media Manager ran the gamut of writing copy, planning content, devising and executing paid media campaigns, and much more.


Rakuten Kobo

Rakuten Kobo is one of the world’s largest online ebook sellers with prominence in global markets, particularly in countries such as Holland, Italy, Taiwan, and of course, Canada. 

I was responsible for crafting seasonal and evergreen CTR-boosting messaging for every chapter of the website, including sections such as True Crime, Romance, and Horror.
